Parkers Hope for Men Earns Level 3 Recovery Residence Certification

Parkers Hope for Mental Wellness is proud to highlight a major milestone for Parkers Hope for Men, which has officially been certified as a Level 3 recovery residence. This recognition reflects the organization’s continued commitment to providing a structured, supportive environment for men pursuing recovery, stability, and long-term personal growth. The program has also been approved for two grants to support the reentry house and expand mental health and substance abuse services.

Parkers Hope For Men has been recognized by the Oklahoma Alliance for Recovery Resources (OKARR) as a certified recovery residence, specifically a Level III recovery home. OKARR is Oklahoma’s state affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, and its certification process is used to confirm that a residence meets recognized standards for quality, safety, and recovery support.

Why Certification Matters

Earning Level III certification from OKARR sets Parkers Hope For Men apart as a trusted, high-quality recovery home—not just an informal sober living space. This means the residence has been rigorously reviewed to ensure it provides structured support, clear rules, safety measures, and recovery-focused programming tailored for men who need more guidance on their journey. Families, referral sources like counselors or courts, and potential residents can feel confident knowing the home meets statewide standards backed by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences.

Real Impact for Residents

For the men living there, this certification translates to a stable environment with five dedicated beds, accountability through posted expectations, and access to resources that promote long-term sobriety. It reduces risks associated with unregulated housing, like inconsistent oversight or inadequate support, and signals a commitment to evidence-based practices that improve outcomes—ultimately helping residents rebuild their lives with greater success and reduced chance of relapse.
