Parkers Hope for Mental Wellness attended the 2nd Annual OU-Tulsa School of Social Work Practicum & Job Fair, convening a diverse group of BASW and MSW students, alumni, and local social-service agencies for a high-impact afternoon of networking and career development.

Strategic Outcomes & Engagement

  • Network Activation: Structured meet-and-greet sessions enabled students and alumni to forge meaningful connections with regional agency leaders—laying the groundwork for future practicum placements and career pathways.

  • Talent Pipeline Development: Agencies showcased their practicum programs and current job openings, resulting in several expressed commitments to recruit OU-Tulsa students for summer and fall placements.

  • Resource Mobilization: Attendees accessed information on OU’s scholarship opportunities and program tracks; one alumnus noted, “Engaging directly with agency coordinators gave me clarity on where my skills can make the greatest impact.”
